I was surprised that the notice to pick up my vehicle did not get to me in a timely manner. I wasn’t informed that the vehicle needed to be picked up until almost two days after. My friend was luckily available to pick up the vehicle during the limited business hours of business at Dons Auto Body.
Then it was doubly surprising to me that the vehicle was not really even ready to be picked up anyway.
The drivers door has this metal strip at the outer border of the drivers window. It is not properly seated. It’s obviously noticeable. I’m surprised that made it through Dons Auto Body final review.
Now I have to take time during my work week to be away from work to bring the car back and hopefully get that metal strip border properly placed and properly secured.
End result, I’m going to be inconvenienced two ways now because my insurance won’t reimburse me for rental days when the car was ready but not notified to pick up. They don’t care. If Dons says the car is ready, then the insurance won’t pay for rental. I’m just out of luck on that. I’ll have to deal with not being reimbursed.
Then secondly, I have to figure out how I’m going to take hours away from work to get the metal strip fixed and secured. That is going to be another hit to my budget.

Driver side door now needs to be slammed hard in order for it to close all the way. That is the one thing I am not satisfied with but overall my repair experience was nice. All the staff there are very helpful and pleasant.

I am not satisfied with your repairs because the digital mirror of my car worked before I took it to your shop, after I picked up my car ,it doesn’t work. I am sure while they fixed the bumper, they hit the wires inside the bumper accidentally , now the digital rear mirror doesn’t work . Please help me check it.
