I was kept well informed about the progress of the repairs on a timely basis. The repairs were complete and very professionally done. I would use Schaefer again and they handled all the communications with USAA that made the repair process much easier for me.

Despite being a USAA certified shop, the staff did not know how to handle my repair. This resulting in me having to wait approximately three weeks from the day I had the inspection to even bring my car in for repair. The USAA policy for the person who hit me paid for the repair, but I also have USAA insurance. This delay, the complete lack of communication, and the multiple calls I had to make to USAA and Schaefer were frustrating and will make me think twice before using Schaefer again (even for a minor outside-of-insurance repair that I was going to have done for my wife's car-I will be taking it elsewhere). The people I let face to face were friendly and helpful, but not those who I spoke with on the phone. Finally, I was asked if I wanted an estimate for anything else to be fixed on yet car; I asked about a dent over the rear wheel well, and was never given any quote.

Overall good service, great staff. Kevin was superb, a good employee. When I received car there were soap suds in a lot of places. The interior had white marks from the cleaner that was used.

They were very professional, courteous, and efficient. They finished the car two days earlier than they estimated. And when I got the car back, I was floored at how good of a job they did. You couldn't even tell there had been anything wrong. And it was so clean it looked and even smelled new on the inside.
