It appears our van may have been side-swiped and has some new scuffs to the passenger side rear door and the casing of the passenger side window is gone as it blew off once I got on the interstate (it was not loose before bringing the vehicle there). In addition, I am unaware of the drivers side window was even looked at for the "stuttering" it had when attempting to roll it down.

I asked for an oil change and tire rotation along with my body shop repair. I didn't say a tire balance even though it was time for this to happen. They did not balance my tires so now we need to jump through hoops to make things right. I have tires for life and I don't want to lose that. I also don't want to do a return 40 mile trip for the balance and waste my time. The oil station also put the wrong sticker in my window. It says to return at 21026 miles and I have 93000 on my truck. Makes me wonder about quality!

I appreciate Scott my advisor and all the help he gave me. I was disappointed that when i got home I realized a large deep scratch on the front of my vehicle. I wasn't able to check my vehicle the day I picked it up because it was pouring rain.

I was told when I brought my vehicle in on Tuesday that it would be ready on Friday, then it changed to Monday, then Tuesday. Had I known it would take that long I would've rescheduled. I had things to do over the weekend that required a pick up and I was in a bind.

Over the course of two weeks in which I contacted Karl Chevrolet until the time my vehicle was repaired, I did not receive one phone call. I was told I would receive a call once my estimate was made-- it never happened. I called a day after I was told Karl Chevrolet would contact me. Once the vehicle was in the shop, repairs began days after I was told work would get started. Then, over the course of about four days, I received patronizing texts with arbitrary percentages of the work that was completed (ie: Update: We are nearing completion. The last mile is the toughest! If any delays, we will call you. Karl Chevrolet Collision). To the eye, the repairs appeared satisfactory. The communication throughout the process, however, was lacking.

Every time I called, I was not dismissed. DAVE was great to work with, as we're all the rest of the staff.only problem was with the tow people in Ames. They were told to take the car to Karl's but did. I made sure they knew that was not acceptable.
