I took our Traverse to Karl Chevrolet because I have the exterior protection plan. I know what the damage to the tailgate appeared to be (looked like a garage door had closed on it from the handle to the bumper). That is not what happened, but I do not know how the damage occurred. I tried to explain this to Trevor, but he discounted what I said, which has happened several other times to me at Karl Chevrolet (sales, service, reception desk). I did not go through my insurance agency, as I did not know how it happened. I was told we would receive updates during the process, but I received "canned" text messages. That was pathetic!!! I was assured work would be completed Wednesday afternoon, but nothing was heard until my wife called to check on the progress. After her call, another text came! Wow! Then nothing more from Karl's until my wife called again. Once again, after her call, another text was received that it was finished! Now another problem--the remote no longer works, even after I installed a new battery. I am sure I will be blamed for the remote not working, but it was working when I left the Traverse there on Monday morning. It did not work when we looked for the Traverse while picking it up, and now I wish I would have let someone bring it to us rather than getting it ourselves. My wife is going to take it, as I absolutely dislike going to Karl Chevrolet. We will not be "customers for life" with Karl Chevrolet!!!

Did not fix the rt power mirror like I was hoping they would. I suggested that the motor be replaced and wasn't. Good friendly service and the labor on the other work was priced right. Trevor was good to work with. I gad to ask for a wash coupon also. Thanks, Dave

When originally told it was done, I came in and some of the scratches were not sanded out and you could see the swirl marks from it being sanded in several locations. Adhesive from decals on bumper was not fully removed and just painted over. It was sent back and second time it was done much better. Still waiting for decals to come in to be reapplied.
