The customer service at the Rufe Snow location in Fort Worth TX was simply terrible. I was told my car would be ready on a Friday. It took 4 phone calls for the person in charge of my car (I worked with Mike) to admit that the parts hadn't arrived yet. Each time I called, he promised he would return my call within 5 minutes, and each time he failed to do so. I had to call back numerous times to get an answer. Since the parts had not come in, my car was ready for pickup on Monday. I arrive on Monday and everything seems to be going fine. I paid my deductible and was on my way home. Once I reached the highway, I heard a loud thump followed by a constant scratching sound. I immediately pulled over and found that whoever installed the splash guard underneath the engine did not bother to tighten the bolts and it had fallen off. I had to return to service king and leave the car another day for them to order the correct splash guard (I assume they installed the wrong one and tried to force it to fit). Luckily they paid for my rental car for the following day. Mike decided to take the day off Tuesday. Therefore, when I called and asked if my car was ready I was told it had already been picked up. I had to explain everything over again. Later that day, I arrived to pick up my car. Keep in mind that the only thing that needed fixing was the splash guard. They handed me the keys to my car and I went to the parking lot. This time I had the sense to look underneath the car to make sure everything is okay. I look underneath and find that the splash guard is half hanging off. They failed to fix the one thing I had brought the car back for. They took the car back into the shop and returned it to me 30 minutes later. The key takeaways from my experience at this service king are the following: ****. Mike does not follow through on his promises to return calls and provide estimated delivery dates. 2. The workers in the shop are either trying to be deceptive (by forcing a wrong part to fit where it does not belong) or are simply incompetent (by not knowing how to install a particular part). My hope is that it is the latter of the two. 3. The manager and repair coordinators do not check the work done by the shop workers, even if the car is brought back due to a mistake.

LT did a fantastic job taking over my car’s repairs at the tail end of the process. He worked hard not only to negotiate with my insurance company but also to ensure that I was able to get my car back on 2/8/2019 without having to wait another 48 hours for the insurance company to respond. Therefore I have no qualms with the service provided by LT. My frustration stems mainly from the lack of communication about Tim quitting his job in the middle of my car’s repair and leaving it in limbo while my family struggled for 2 weeks without a vehicle. I made it very clear to Tim that we did not have another vehicle and also that my previous insurance company (Standard) would not cover a rental. Tim told me that this job would take 4-5 days max to complete. After the parts were ordered the bumper that was originally ordered did not fit correctly so another one had to be ordered. I’m not sure why this is the case but it added yet another entire week to the job. I received an automatic text notification that the repair had been completed on my car on 2/7/2019. I had been attempting to follow up with Tim for theee day’s prior to this to confirm whether or not this was correct. No answer, no text response back, and no additional information until I called up to Service King and they let me know that the repairs were in fact complete but that we were still waiting in the approval from a supplement from the insurance. My car could not be returned to me until this supplement was agreed upon. The supplement had been agreed upon by both parties and all looked like it was ready to go. Then the insurance requested an invoice be sent over. LT sent over the invoice with another supplement because the insurance company (Standard) was attempting to pay a lower hourly rate for body shop work than what is typical for Service King to accept. This was submitted first thing in the morning on 2/8/2019 and LT was very on top of this. The afternoon rolls around on 2/8/2019 and I call to see if the car is ready to pick up. Much to my dismay, I am told that the new updated supplement has yet to be approved and that the insurance company (Stabdard) has 24-48 hours to respond to the supplement request. Meanwhile I have 3 sick children at home with my two year old throwing up uncontrollably. My wife is crying on the phone on the verge of a mental breakdown because she has cleaned up vomit more times than she can count and only wants her car back. I’m notably frustrated by this point and I call LT. I communicate that I will just come in and pay the difference between what the insurance is paying and what Service King is owed. LT is the only human in this scenario that was rational enough to consider this request. He worked late past 6 PM to ensure that I was able to get my car back after all of this hassle. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service even though he picked up my case midway through without much working knowledge of what was going on. My frustration is not with Service King or LT. My frustration is related to the incompetent mouth breathers working at Standard Insurance company. It will be my pleasure to fight with them to get every red cent I am owed for the repair of my vehicle.

Brad did a great job of keeping me informed of the progress on my car plus he went far beyond the call of duty to make sure the car was repaired to like-new appearance. It’s beautiful. This is my third experience with this Service King on Rufe Snow and I have always been completely satisfied when the job was completed. I highly recommend these guys!

Your representatives don’t follow through. My car was there for s freaking month. Your texts say expect a call. Never got one. My date was adjusted 4x because your representatives didn’t pass along my notes and had to order diff. Parts twice causing delays. The guy that gave me a ticket was sick and out for a few days but your staff gave two shits about my qualm and issues. Please go out of business but your company is awful and you didn’t even fix all the issues. I would bring it up to you but I don’t want to pay for another rental for a **** month. I’ll have to try and find out what the hell is wrong and try to fix it myself.

The only slight issue I had was that I asked for text messages but received emails...it all worked out though...very pleased with the overall service tha Mike and his team provided.
