Car was delayed due to defective parts. On the morning the vehicle was due I received a text stating that everything was on schedule for pick up in the afternoon. If anything changes I would receive a phone call. No phone call in the afternoon so I left work a bit early in order to get to the location before 6 pm only to find out the vehicle wasn’t ready because one of the parts was defective. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PHONE CALL? Additionally, after picking the vehicle up I discovered the splash guard wasn’t installed. It was simply left in the floorboard behind the driver’s seat. I can’t take time out of my schedule to return the vehicle to this SK location, so I’m not sure how it will be installed. Maybe someone from SK should come to me on my schedule. Simply rediculous that a body shop can’t reassemble the vehicle correctly. If I need auto body work again, I will seriously question whether I use Service King or someone else. This is sad, because I’ve been a big champion for SK in the past. Not sure I’ll do that anymore.

We were expecting daily updates on the progress of our repair. We received a few e-mails regarding status, but no pictures. We never received an alert to inform us of completion of the vehicle. We ended up calling and asking. We were also told on day of pick up that the vehicle was being cleaned, but learned that the paint repair was not completed and we would get a call when it was finished. Never received that call. We did pick up the car and the repairs seemed to be made to our satisfaction.

There was a delay in communication between the insurance company and service king. Service king did not inform me of this delay which I found out about by calling them asking how my car is coming along. They told me the insurance company has not responded for 3 Days. When I dropped my car off I told Orlan to call me if he doesn’t hear from the insurance company after one day. He did not call me. I called the insurance company and fixed everything. I shouldn’t have to do this as a customer. I got my car back just short of 3 weeks later. The communication to me from service king was always misleading making me think the car would be ready soon but I would have to wait more days. Meanwhile I received text messages about my cars status that were inaccurate. These were telling me the car is 59% done when in fact they weren’t working on the car at all! They were still waiting for the insurance company! Anyway the work that was done was AMAZING! I am very happy with the overall result and the wax job they did. Communication was awful and needs improvement but the hail repair was done flawlessly!
