As I stated to the lady on the phone the body work exterior was done very well, however the inside of the car was filled with dust, as well as the engine compartment which I also maintain to remain clean. Otherwise satisfied with repair

Judy and Juan were very professional. All arrangements made prior my arrival to the Sawgrass Ford Collision were very well coordinated and handled promptly, no lines, no delays, I was updated daily on the progress of my car repair and it was completed right on schedule.

The repair time was extended because another part of my vehicle was found to be damaged, therefore a supplement was needed; despite the fact that this was inconvenient (because I had to pay the insurance for the rental), it was also something that was out of your hands. The car was not restored to original condition as promised when I dropped the car off. What could have been a flawless job was ruined because whoever attached the rear bumper "didn't have time" to identify the part number for two plastic clips used to attached the bumper to the splash guard. When I complained about the fact that instead of using the plastic clips, two galvanized screws were used, Mr. Juan Diaz gave me a litany of excuses. The first one was that the galvanized screws was what I had provided them when I dropped the car off for repairs. When I explained that was impossible (the original bumper was removed by me before dropping the car off because all but two plastic clips were holding the bumper after the accident. all other plastic clips flew off due to the impact), he then said the shop's estimating system did not pick up small items like that. I asked how was it that the system picked up other plastic clips that were used to attach the bumper but the ones that were missing were not picked up. His answer was that Sawgrass Ford Body Shop is big body shop where everything is handled like a production line. He said the people there do not have time to look up for "little items like that." I gave him a parts diagram that I found on the internet in less than 2 minutes as well as photographs of the parts missing and a price quote (****.37 per clip x 2 2.74 total). I asked how come I'm not a body shop owner and in less than 2 minutes I was able to identify the part missing. I also asked what prevented anyone there from identifying and obtaining the part missing. He reiterated the response that Sawgrass Ford Body Shop does not have the time to identify "little items like that." I responded that if that was the way Sawgrass Ford Body Shop did business then why tell the customers that you're going to restore the car to original condition. I explained to him that by using a galvanized screw, the new bumper was potentially damaged as well as the splash guard that it was attached to because the screw tore the plastic. Additionally, the road vibration would likely make the screws pop off (vibration will cause additional tear in the plastic to the point where the screws will fall). I had to make Mr. Diaz inspect the front and rear bumpers so he would be convinced that my car had no screws securing any of the bumpers. On top of that, the screws used were galvanized which would eventually rust with exposure to the elements. Mr. Diaz agreed to order new splash guards and the missing plastic clips. I pointed out that the possibility exist that a new bumper may be needed because of the whole created by the screw may turn out to be too big for the plastic clip to stay secured. His response was, "we'll cross that bridge when we get there." I'm extremely disappointed how everything was handled. If I'm given the promise of my car will be restored "to original condition" then I should expect nothing less. Additionally, the poor excuses provided for something that was obviously sloppiness and laziness on the part of whoever put the screws and whoever inspected the job were unacceptable. I assure you that this will be the first and last time I bring any of my vehicles to Sawgrass Ford Body Shop for repairs. And if I ever know of anyone that plans on taking their car there for repairs, I will share with them this negative experience. Sorry for being harsh, but you guys didn't do this for free. If it was free, then I wouldn't have had any standing complaining this. The reality is that using lame excuses is unacceptable when you pay for a service, and especially when you're promised the work will be done following the highest standards.
