My car was not fully repaired because the estimator did not note that the top part of the bumper needed to be repaired on the estimate. I can’t imagine repair work being done in the same area and no one was alerted that it would need to be fixed as well. Jeff, the estimator did not provide a solution he basically apologized because he has nothing else to say.

I took my car in for a left rear bumper/fender/tail light repair on Monday, February 18, 2019. I was told it would be likely Thursday February 21 before it would be ready. I scheduled a rental car for that time frame. On Thursday I was emailed that it would not be ready until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I extended my rental car at a higher cost because I would have received a discount if I had rented for the full week to begin. I was then told on Tuesday that the wrong part had come in for the tail light cover. It was being re-ordered and would be available by Wednesday. Again, I had to extend the rental car at another cost. I was finally able to pick up the car on Thursday, February 28, ten days after the car had been brought in for what I was told would be a three to four days repair. I was offered a $100 discount, which I rebuffed because I had spent much more than that simply on extra charges for a rental car. The manager then came back with another offer of a $300+ discount (about 23-24%) to which I decided to agree. But the overall headache of rescheduling, uncertainty, multiple setbacks, etc. have made me not want to deal with Auto Body of Wilson in the future. There is an overall lack of communication in the office in my opinion that needs to be addressed with the front office staff.
