Picked my 2014 BMW 535i up today at 945am. Arrived at work less than 20 mins later (1003am) and observed the "back-up sensor" in my car malfunctioning and inoperable. The "park-assist" signal also flashed as if to caution me. At 1007am I immediately called Doug at Auto Nation and briefly explained to him what was happening and told him that I will be bringing my car back for a hopeful resolution first thing tomorrow morning (Friday, Jan 4th around 830am). He agreed.

I am a veteran with PTSD and hauled my 42 foot fifth wheel out with my 2017 Silverado 3500. On December 1st. My RV was burglarized and the keys found in the RV to the truck allowed the thieves to completely empty the contents of my RV as well as steal and crash the truck. The robbery was on December 1st
It was towed away when the truck was found and delivered to AutoNation on December 4th. I realize the damage was extensive but I explained to the Collision Center how important it was to be expedient in returning the truck as my PTSD was affected by the robbery and I needed to get back to Houston and a vet center immediately. The truck was delivered today. We were hoping it would have been delivered on Saturday considering that they told us on that day at 10AM that all that needed to be done was an alignment. I again reminded them of my PTSD status and that I've been stranded in Vegas for three weeks longer than I could afford to be and a bad snow storm will be arriving on my road home on Tuesday.And I also explained that if all that's left is an alignment surely it could be accomplished before close of business. They refused and delivered today being Monday. The ramifications in their inabiity to get that alignment done on Saturday resulted in further delay in my getting to a vet center, added expense in renting the RV lot for three more days, and now a snowstorm that we were hoping to be able to be in front of if we left Saturday or Sunday is holding us from getting back to Houston in a timely manner. My complaint is that an alignment was all that was necessary after the truck had been kept for nearly a month and that alignment could have been done on that same Saturday and I could have been in front of the weather and saved myself a lot of money additional stress and rent waiting for the truck to be finished. Their choice not to return my truck on Saturday for simply getting an alignment was at least insensitive and potentially harmful.
