I recommend everyone to Valley Motor Center. I've used your services I think 3 times now.
Upon glancing at my Jetta it looked like all the work that was needed did get completed. I got in to start the car and realized that my key was broken. It pops out of it's black case but doesn't lock in the open position. The key was working perfectly when I left the car there a few weeks ago.
I went back into the office to discuss the key issue and was told that since there was no way to prove that the key was working correctly when I dropped off the car, I would have to replace the key and VMC would split the cost with me.
Back in the car I realized that one of the A/C vents had lost a silver detail on the cover. It would have had to have been popped off during cleaning as this was not part of the car that needed worked on. I can provide a picture if you would like. The car was also completely empty of gas. I had to stop to get gas before returning to work. As I got out to pump the gas I realized that the driver's side wheel covers were off. They were still in the trunk where the tow guy must have put them.
I was surprised.
I would have thought someone would have put at least a little bit of gas in the car so that it wasn't an urgent issue and that they would have returned all the wheel covers to their tires.
I figured if I went back in to ask about the A/C vent detail, I would just be told that there was no way for me to prove that it wasn't like that when I dropped it off...
I'm disappointed.

There is a ding/paint mar on back tailgate cladding that was not there when I dropped the Encore off. I was thinking of coming in to see if it would just buff out (I think it will).

Before paying the 900 dollars bill, I pointed out one small dent but was not acted upon . And to act on my request requires me additional cost. I was willing to come back for another 2 to 3 days. I think this was simply overlooked by the repair team which happens normally. I took the risk of being charged by Hyundai rather pay extra cost. I returned the car today at Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys. They will sent me the final result and I just hope I will not be charged extra cost.
