I had loose chain in my car (several quarters, dimes, nickels...,etc). When I picked up my car today and checked it, the compartment was empty and only pennies was left. I appreciate the care of the repairs, but I'm very disappointed that you house dishonest employees who don't fully understand that their position is fully based on the honor system. It's not the change as it is the principal of the matter. This has never happened to me before and I've utilize your company several times. It truly saddens me.

I commented to my service rep, and he was aware that your email update process is a work in progress. While I did receive periodic emails ("your car is 61% completed"), when the job was ultimately completed (as planned), I never received a call or email advising me of this fact, but rather had to call late in the day for the status. As a result, I was not able to pick up my vehicle until the following day, which required another day of car rental, and a rearranging of my schedule.

Someone doing what I was told would be done anytime that my car was in the shop would have alerted me to a deeper issue that I could have had resolved at another shop when VMC was finished with my vehicle. Instead, that small detail was overlooked and cost me a lot of money. Additionally, I have referred a handful of friends to VMC since I was very happy with my first experience there. I would have been happy to pay to have my car moved to another location to be fixed when you guys finished with the body work, but instead, while the car was awaiting the parts, the car sat there with a bigger problem that I specifically asked them to just look at. The Power Steering. Needless to say, I am very unsatisfied and will not be returning to VMC in the future nor will I refer any more friends. Offering anything to help for the inconvenience would have at least let me know that you guys were sorry for not having done what was 50% of the reason I brought my car there in the first place. Again, I could care less about the money to fix the car, but it was the waste of days and time that has really left me in a hole that could have been very easily avoided by just doing what I was told would be done and I had even specifically mentioned several times when checking my vehicle in.

Dear VMC
The bumper repair looks very nice, however I was disappointed that no one noticed that the rear spoiler really also needs a paint job and that it REALLY stands out looking shabby in comparison to the fresh bumper paint job. Sort of like a half a face lift. Granted that the spoiler wasn't part of the vehicle damage, my suspicion is that it could have been taped off easily and repainted freshening it up and since we have been loyal customers for decades that would have been very nice. At the very least it would have been nice to be asked if we might like having that done and what the repair charge would be. When I dropped my car off a couple of weeks ago, there was no one available to go over it with me. I would have pointed that out, but was in a hurry.
So, in answer to your question, no, not a 10 this time.
