Communication: There seems to be an issue with AutoNation's automation system. I received an email but the storefront was unprepared and unaware that the email was sent. The service person should also be more aware of the situation before making a call to the customer. I received a call that said something along the lines of "we submitted a claim to USAA for more time, so we're waiting to hear back." I asked why and her response was along the lines of "It's just going to take more time so it's going to cost more," but she had no detail of the actual reason. Customers don't like hearing things will cost more, without a reason.
Quality: The quality of the fix was good, but there was still some residue left on the car when I went to pick it up - it took just a few seconds to clean off but shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Customer service: I was surprised by the number of comments the service team was making regarding customers who had just left. I sat for 15-20 minutes waiting, and heard comments such as "Just because he has a Mercedes he shouldn't think he's going to jump the line," and "He can't tell me how to do my job." These comments are understandable in a lunch room, but not at the storefront where other customers are waiting.
