I dropped off my truck to get repaired as I was involved in a rear end collision. I was notified that it was ready for pick up a few days later. The day I picked it up, I noticed that my drivers side door was getting stuck as I tried to exit from inside. I notified **** that there was a problem with the door and stated to him that this was not the case when I dropped it off for repair. He said that it need some lubricant and that this would solve the problem. He proceded to apply the lubricant he got from the shop area and said it was fixed. I tried the door again and it was still getting stuck. He then stated that parts like this will fail if they are not maintained properly over time especially in vehicles with high mileage like mine. So I then asked if this was my fault now according to his statement. The Geico representative on the scene came to look at the problem since they were the insurance paying for the repair. He also stated that he was not the one who originally gave the estimate and pretty much washed his hands of the problem. A second employee from the repair shop then came out to take a look and decided to take my truck to the back and have it looked at. Upon his return he informed me that I was right and that the mechanism that allows the door to open was broken. **** followed out shortly with an estimate of 243.00 and said that if I wanted to get it fixed, this is what it will cost you. I do not feel that I should be responsible for paying for something that was damaged while in your possession. At no time did anyone from your business offer any explanation as to what happened. I would like to discuss this with whomever manages the facility as I feel you are responsible for this repair. I have a copy of my vehicle check in form and it does not state that there was a problem with the door when I dropped off my vehicle. Please contact me at ****-****-xxxx.

I would just recommend maybe a look over after you're done because there's a bubble under the paint . I'm gonna being it back in to be fixed , thanks to the warranty yall have given me !

I have scheduled to bring our car back on 2-11-15 at 8:30 am with Svc. Advisor **** Watson to discuss and have items addressed (scratches on passenger front fender and tailgate, dent on tailgate, scuffing of front bumper, etc.). These were not on the car prior to it being left there for collision work. We are very unhappy with the condition of the car and I did call **** as soon as my wife discovered these items the same day I picked up the car.
