From the moment I walked in the shop with a damaged car, to the wonderful moment when I saw the car beautifully repaired, I knew I was well cared for! I was treated with respect and ultimate care! I received on going communication about the repairs and ended up getting the car back two days early! How cool is that! Mackin’s was a pleasure to work with...I feel like I have a brand new car!! A good shop with good people who take care of you and your car.

I dropped off my car and the mileage was recorded. Upon pickup the mileage was not logged, but upon checking, it had 300 more miles on it than when I dropped it off. To my knowledge there should be no reason to put 300+ miles on a car during a body repair. Also, upon pickup-inspection, the car had dust and specks on it from the repair as well as some loose pieces in the back. The plastic trim was not properly replaced and wiring was exposed, the trim wasn’t seated correctly, and the wiring from door to car was loose and exposed. The plastic trim on the interior near the back side glass had a small chunk cut out of it, apparently during the removal of the glass. There were a few other things, but I cannot remember them at the moment. Stephen was quick to apologize and had me return later after the shop had fixed the problems, but I forgot to mention one thing I’d seen and hadn’t noticed a few others, but they were still unfinished upon my return. I’ll be calling Monday to speak about getting these issues resolved and perhaps some partial refund for the hassle. It’s not convenient at all to have to return to the body shop three times upon completion of a job because it wasn’t completed properly. As a first time customer with Mackin’s, I’m definitely going to give the company a chance to make things right before passing judgement, but this far it’s been a fairly frustrating pickup process.

Second time going to them to fix different vehicles. They are spot on and got over and beyond.
