In the end we are very happy with the repair. However, when we were told the car was done we came and looked at it and noticed a part of the repair not complete, so we had to come back again after that was done. However, the finished product is great!

I was satisfied with the work performed, but was disappointed in the communication about the status of my car. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told it would be a 3-4 day repair. I was not given a new estimate when I dropped off my car on Thursday. The following Monday afternoon, I called for an update and was told at that point it would be done on Friday. The first text message update I received with an estimated completion date was a week after I dropped off my car.

LaMettry's Management, I explicitly requested LaMettry's (Estimator: Steve Christianson) NOT dispose of my $625 bumper ($396 parts new, $229 finishing) which had mild cosmetic damage to it, during the process of replacing said bumper. This repair (dropped off 8/18/2017, Eden Priarie location, totaling $****,476.67) was covered from an Am-Fam insurance claim filed by the person who damaged the bumper. I wanted to maintain my ownership of the original bumper in the event damage to my brand new bumper should not be covered by an insurance claim, I could easily save the $625 in parts/finishing (from a potential 3rd bumper) by re-using my mildly damaged first-bumper and instead allocate the funds toward re-installation of bumper #**** at LaMettry's, as after all, the $625 bumper #**** was my property. I don't believe this is too odd of a request to make for a collision shop as I've seen several shops do this before, without any issues. However LaMettry's told me they placed my mildly damaged bumper off to the side next to the "parts going to recycling pile" instead of inside my Ford Explorer trunk per my request (which conveniently can easily fit my mildly damaged bumper of which could have been stowed inside the vehicle immediately as I suggested), and of course my bumper was relocated (or potentially put into a pile which can be resold/salvaged by another retailer, thereby re-acquiring the value off my mildly damaged $625 bumper which was rightfully mine, or perhaps it was sold as part of the 'Recycling Program' you allude to. I'm not pointing fingers to nefarious motives necessarily, simply alluding to possibilities here). Not happy about this as I explicitly requested to maintain ownership of my still-had-good-value bumper. Extremely disappointed from LaMettry's for doing this. Expected a LOT more from a company who charges a premium in the repair category & touts themselves in "going above and beyond". Here's the exact email I received on 8/25/2017 regarding this topic: "Good afternoon Dan. Your Explorer is done and ready to pick up. We do not have the bumper cover we removed from your car. We had it till a couple of days ago. We went to put it back in your car and it was gone. We called our recycler and they did not know if they had it as they send them out in a truck after collection" No apologies from LaMettry's for not returning my $625 bumper after I requested. Steve expressed an apology in person, only after I alluded to my disappointment with the situation. Whether this misplacement of my bumper was an accident, or intentional, there's no debating this was careless on behalf of LaMettry's. Perhaps since I wasn't the one writing the check this time around, I didn't warrant a moderate level of adherence to my customer requests, however, I selected LaMettry's Eden Prairie out of many options based on a recommendation from my father who has had numerous repairs performed by LaMettry's Eden Prairie. Sincerely hope you treat future customers' polite-requests with more respect than you treated mine. Respectfully, Dan S

Jeff is taking care of it, but the incorrect front grills were installed and there are new scratches/gouges on the headlight cover where the grill work was done on the driver's side.

Jeff Green, I can not begin to tell you how disappointed I am. Those two main ridges that run down from above the Fiat emblem and arc down the hood by the headlights were not even remotely repaired. This is what I had pointed out to you when you first did the estimate and the morning I dropped the car off. I just can not believe this. I'll call you in the morning. Terry Z
