The original paper work had a scheduled drop off date of 10/16/2018. Originally, the person I talked to said the estimate was for 3 days but that we should know it could take 5 days with the time for parts to arrive / unexpected delays. I said that would be fine. We received a call prior asking if we could reschedule to 11/19/2018. We said that would be fine. We dropped the car off on the 19th and as I thought the car would be returned within a week I told them I didn't need a rental car. I received my first update email that day saying they would keep me up to date on the status of the vehicle. The next update I received was on Tuesday Nov. 20th saying that the completion date was updated to 11/27/2018 at 4pm. The email still said this was an estimate. Not bad considering the holiday weekend. I'll have my car by Wednesday the 28th the day that I'll actually need to go somewhere. The next update I receive is on Wed. Nov. 21st saying that the repairs have been started and that they look forward to seeing me in 6 days. Great! The next update I receive is on Thurs. Nov 22nd (Thanksgiving day). "Your vehicle is on track to be completed on 11/27/2018 04:00 PM.". Cool, still looking good. I sure hope no one is working on Thanksgiving day... The next update I receive is on Monday, Nov 26th. "We are nearing completion. If we encounter any delays, we'll call you.". Excellent. I will have my car tomorrow! Okay, this is where things get upsetting. I have made arrangements with someone to take me to Giovanni's to pick my car up on Tuesday Nov 27th after I get off work. 5ish. This should be fine, they said it would be ready around 4pm. At 3:15pm on Tuesday Nov. 27th I receive an email, "We have updated your estimated completion date from 11/27/2018 04:00 PM to 11/30/2018 04:00 PM.". What? 45 minutes before it is supposed to be done I'm receiving an email saying it is going to be another 3 days. I didn't even receive a phone call like the last update said it would. I call the store to let them know I'm pretty upset. I speak with a woman who says that they had to order parts. I ask to speak with Marc. Marc tells me they found more damage so, yes, they did have to order more parts. I let him know that my original bring in date was back in October and that I've been accomodating and I would have asked for a rental if I knew it was going to take so long. He tells me that he will take $200 off the deductable and that he will call me in the morning about a car. I'm still upset but this is a good start. I don't hear from Giovanni's all day on Wednesday. Now I'm really mad. How can you say you're going to do something to help a customer and then not follow through? If there isn't a car available, at least call me and let me know that there isn't a cra available. My next contact is a voice message left on Thursday Nov. 29th at 3:20pm. Doreen called to let me know that the car won't be ready until Saturday and that a loaner vehicle can be picked up if needed. Unfortunately, it is already too late for the loaner to be useful. Finally, 10:45AM on Saturday Dec. 1st we receive a call stating the vehicle is ready to be picked up and they close at noon. Luckily, I was able to get a ride in time to get my car on Saturday so I didn't have to wait until Monday to pick it up. I did receive a $200 discount which was something. However, it was an incredibly frustrating experience.

I said completely satisfied because the work is good and Doreen is exceptional. The pick up time was moved out three times so it took 2 weeks to get back. But I’d go again !

Doreen and Rose (office staff) are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and exude a "family atmosphere"- critical to those dealing with a damaged vehicle. The quality of repair is also exceptional and the added "extra" of detailing the vehicle is a surprising treat. I would,without question,recommend your shop to anyone needing body work and repair!
