REP. called me last Thursday and advised that repairs had been completed and car was ready to picked up. Arrived at ABRA to pick up car and discovered that a damaged component which I had pointed out to Rep. during her initial assessment of damage had not been repaired. When I pointed out damaged component, Rpe. assured me that ABRA's Technicians had completed a thorough assessment and repaired all damaged components. I asked the Rep. to lie down on the ground and view the damaged component, which was clearly visible on the underside of the car. After looking under the car, Rep. took my car back in to be assessed by a Technician once again. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, the Rep. returned and confirmed that there was damage that had been missed by the Technician and needed to be repaired. Advised the Rep. that I would have had no knowledge of the unrepaired damage, had I not taKen my car to the Toyota dealership's repair shop for a repair estimate prior to obtaining a repair estimate from ABRA. Based on this experience, it is evident that ABRA's Technician had not completed a thorough inspection of my car's damage. The missed damage was plainly visible and should have been easily identified of the vehicle had been placed on a lift and inspected. Had I not first obtained a repair estimate from another body shop, I would have never known about the damage that ABRA had missed and had not repaired.
