There was a complete lack of communication about potential responsibility for repair costs that I might incur in the ~3 months from when my appointment was scheduled until my appointment date. I was made aware of this only at the time of drop-off for repair, at which point there was nothing I could do but accept responsibility or wait ~3 months for an appointment at another repair facility. There was also uncertainty around the final amount I would be responsible for up until the day of pickup.
Overall quality of repair was great, as was coordination with the rental car company. I also appreciated the pre-pickup detail.

Only two major complaints; everything else was well done, especially updates/communication and lead time.
Please give notice to owners of EVs that some amount of battery discharge would occur during repair, test/verification (discharge rates beyond 900 kW/mi over a few miles were recorded between drop off and pickup), and storage so they know to recharge ahead of time. My vehicle was dropped off at the shop with about 35% capacity after driving from Woodinville. After the repair, the vehicle had 15% remaining to return to the office and then back home with. If I knew to charge ahead of time, I could have avoided the stress of searching during rush hour for a Supercharger that I had never used before.
There were also a noticeable amount oil marks on my white interior upon vehicle pickup. I do appreciate that the exterior was washed, though.

There are multiple issues with the systems cruise control and anticollision radar. I’m surprised you released the car in this condition to me.

Both young ladies at the front desk were always kind, polite and helpful. My car was done in 2 days so early. That was amazing.
Although when I picked up the car it was very very dusty and dirty on the inside. So much that I had to give my car a thorough wipe down when I got home. I assume my windows were down in the shop and the dust from the shop got in my car.
I suggest you leave the windows up next time you are repairing vehicles. Thank you

I brought my car into your shop for a driver side mirror repair.
It was determined that I needed a new one. A estimate was
made, a walk around was done noting any scratches on
my vehicle. The car was then admitted for repair. After picking
the car up my wife and I noticed the
mirror controls were operating in reverse. I called Lisa and
explained the problem and she said she would take the car back to
the GM dealer they got the part through and have them fix it.
Upon the return of my vehicle my wife and I noticed a scratch on
the mirror casing. The car also was scratched on the front left
bumper down by the orange turn signal. These scratches were new on
the bumper and weren’t there at the time of the walk
through. Lisa said she was having a problem with the dealership
about the scratches and wanted me to call them.
I told her my car was in the care of Carestar. She seemed agitated that I wanted my car fixed and said she didn’t want to pay for that. I suggested she talk to her dad/owner to see about getting my car made whole between Carstar and Burien Chevrolet. I left the conversation like that and she was out Friday and would get back to me Monday 8/29.
I’ve been bringing my cars there since it was Bjornebys and never had a
problem. I’m looking forward to a pleasant outcome.
