I was a loyal customer at IRA collision center in Danvers and have brought my car there to be repaired a few times. The service and repair was great in the past but my recent experience was horrible! No one went over the repair with me or looked at the car with me before it was done! The repair was rushed without sanding and painting the whole bumper. There was dust and dirt in my trunk from the repair shop when they replaced my tail light. I was told to pay when I came to pick up my car before I could even look at the repair. The guy that showed me the car after I paid for the repair admitted the technicians did a poor job and it would have been different if he was in charge of the repair!! On top of all that I use my automatic car starter everyday and it hasn’t worked since I picked up my car! Michael Mancini ( the guy in charge of my repair ) told me there’s nothing he can do about it! I will not be back to IRA collision center ever again and neither will my friends or family that I recommended the repair shop to in the past! - Brian O

Excellent Job

My car was completely taken apart before I was called to say that the work would cost 10 times more than the insurance estimate and that they couldn’t put a t back together for me to go elsewhere. I had no option given to me ahead of time, as my other garage would do, to say that it looks like it will cost more than my 800 insurance estimate. When I complained about this, Laurie was exceptionally rude over the phone. While Ann, Mike and Jason were very professional, I still was forced into buying all new parts and paying, in addition to the new insurance payment of 6 thousand dollars, and additional 600 hundred dollars (the initial insurance adjustment was for 800 dollars). My garage would have repaired parts instead of buying new ones and always stays under an insurance claim. All that for a car Ira Collision knew was being traded in for a new vehicle as soon as it was done. I had to reschedule my new car pick up because the guy working on my car weals “one of the slow guys” and so instead of being ready on Friday it ended up being the following Tuesday. I definitely felt both hijacked and ripped off. I can guarantee you that we will never us Ira again and will warm off friends from using them as well.
