The work looks great, but after my car was there for a week, I called three days in a row, left voicemails, and no one returned my calls. ever. I eventually got in touch with the receptionist who looked up my car. I kept getting the answer that it should be done tomorrow. A week after it was suggested it would be done, I drove by to find my car looking like it was done. I was told it would be ready later that day but I did not hear anything. I called near the end of the day and was told yet again that it would not be ready for another day. I had to drive in to the shop to talk to someone who final said it could be ready today, just have to finish paperwork. Ug! how long was it waiting for paperwork? It seems like this job should have take well under a week. It took two. Setting customer expectations, and actually communicating with customers is key! I'm pretty disappointed with the whole experience.

I have made my thoughts clear on the service I have experienced at Ira Collision. The staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and apparently overworked and overscheduled. I was made promises that couldn't be kept and was treated extremely poorly by the customer service manager. I have never had such a negative experience at an auto body shop. The flat-out refusal to rectify the situation is simply mind-boggling. I have submitted a complaint to Toyota Corporate against Ira and will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Communication was terrible. I had to haunt the folks there for update s. My sense is it is understaffed. If communication had been better I would have trusted the process more.
I found myself thinking of leasing through Mercedes next as their turnaround seems to be better no matter the weather or season.
I’m in customer service so I know when it’s difficult/impossible. This could have been handled better.

I had less than 800 miles on my Avalon when it sustained substantial rear-end damage. I brought it to IRA because it was a new Toyota and I wanted the best chance of it being fixed correctly. The work they did was outstanding. The car looks perfect. It did take a long time (5 weeks) for the repair, but it was a big job and parts that were ordered took a while to be delivered. They did update me on the progress of the repair sporadically, however a couple of times I had to call them for an update and they said that someone left me a message that I never received. If you are in a hurry to have your car repaired, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want your car to look like it just came off the showroom floor, accept that it may take a while but know that you will get the end result you were looking for. PS: Ask for Paul Kelly. He and his team are great at what they do.

I had to fight to get information on the status of my repair at every turn. The first email update I received (five days in), stated I would receive an update soon. Followed by an email that said I would be receiving email updates. There was no actual information provided. I had to call three times over the course of the two weeks my car was in for repairs, to get actual information. Also, no one took the time to go over the repairs that were done when I picked up the car. Granted, I was pressed for time, but a quick glance at the work performed would have been appreciated.

Everyone at IRA Collision was great. They took me immediately and my car came back great. People were all very professional.
I do have concerns about the Hertz car rental. I was charged $50 which was never mentioned to me. When asked the girl at Ira as I was returning my car, she said to put my paperwork in the basket and they would check it when they came by. No one from Hertz was apparently to talk with me as I returned car. The car was clean but extremely Smokey. The car was returned with more gas then I initially received. Still have not seen my $50 returned to my car either.

My current response, having the car back 2 days is I don't trust the car.
The repair was done twice.
This past repair had my car for 11 days. I called twice after a week and once the man at Ira said he check and call me back. He never did. Two days later I tried again, this time a woman was off the phone so long I had to hang up.
I rec'd notice through the email with titles of Status and Up-dates with nothing in the message.
I made arrangement to see a Rep., Sat. around 11. When I called to see if he was there (on his time off) they told me to wait at home they would call me. I called an hour later. The phone rang for over 2 minutes before some one answered (around 10:15 am) (now-a-days, phones have timers on them and you see right in front of you how long you are waiting on the phone.) When I stayed on the line and someone did answer, he knew of my day before call with the Rep., but could not tell me if the car was "there."
****.25 or ****.5 hours after that the Rep. called to apologize that he had family issues. This was around 12:30. I was told to stay home and wait (on my busy Saturday (by the on-duty man) 2.5 hours earlier.
My impression was Ira's people do not respect other people's time and probably, some me, some my experience... I do not have confidence in this Leased car and probably Toyota.
I will not lease a car again.
