I experienced a number of delays with my repair, including:
- Having an estimate to pick up for Friday 9/21 that was delayed until Monday 9/24 due to the bumper being painted incorrectly the first time (I made the first contact on Friday morning to find out this news.)
- Calling Monday morning, being told the car would be ready for pickup 9/24 at 1pm, only to show up at this time and have to wait until ~2:30p for the car to be washed and processed.
- Being asked for a credit card to pay my deductible when my insurance had set up the deductible to be waived back with the original estimate and cut check. I fielded a phone call with the manager to confirm information that should have already been set up.

The delays in pick-up times resulted in a number of lost hours and wages at my job having to leave to try and coordinate my pick-up, as well as having to keep my rental car through the weekend and invest in more gas when it was originally going to be turned in on Friday.
For people like myself who work multiple jobs along with sharing a car with my wife, having my car in the shop impacts my income and how I manage my work. My experience with the shop made this a lot worse than it needed to be, it was far from the "10" experience that's advertised.

I appreciated the good communication from Galen on my VW. I knew exactly what was going on and when. My car was delivered on time and Galen even checked my tire pressure. I also was able to leave my rental car overnight at the shop so Enterprise could pick it up. This was very convenient and saved me time. The service was great from when I walked in the door. I would recommend Oakland Auto Body to my friends and family.

I was frustrated with the delays. The initial estimate was two days, which turned into twelve. In particular, my car had been at the shop for five days (three business days), before I was told that additional damage was discovered and there would be further delay to order parts. I see no reason why the damage couldn't have been discovered sooner and the repairs handled more efficiently.
