The work was excellent...however, 2 factors make this an overall negative. First, the cost was over 50% higher than the estimate. I'm sure there is plenty of detail to "explain" why, but that large of a miss is just unacceptable and shows why the public is cynical about car repair businesses. Second, the "attitude" of the front desk staff was very negative...not welcoming, not pleasant...more like "I don't want to be here"...and not just one person. I chose CarStar over a friend's recommendation due to the proximity, wanting to have convenience and support the Troy community.

The passenger quarter panel looked amazing. There was one tiny black paint dot on my rear bumper cover but I can't complain because it looked better than what it used to be.

The quality of work on the repair was amazing. I was also very pleasantly surprised when I got in my van and it was vacuumed and cleaned out! Thank you so much for going that extra mile. Every staff person was pleasant and professional. Job was explained well and expedited. The only complaint I had is when I got my car back the menu was changed that show trip miles vs mph and the clock was off 5 hours. Not sure what you did with the menu and clock in scope of windshield and hood repair. I will definitely refer Carstar.
