Everyone was super nice! There was an issue with being charged an additional fee by Geico for a tire that was damaged in the accident, I was really unhappy about it because I was already paying my 500 deductible to cover the repairs per my Geico policy. After calling Geico I was told that "any part being replaced that has wear on it, I will be charged this fee because they are replacing it with a new one". That just doesn't make sense to me seeing as all the damaged parts being replaced technically had "wear". I was not satisfied whatsoever. Shortly after I got a call from the shop saying my SUV was ready to be picked up, he told me on the phone the betterment had been taken care of. When I got there the shop manager was so nice and so was the guy that gave me my paperwork. He told me that he understood how I felt about it and that he took care of it for me! That was just an amazing thing to do. The Geico estimator didn't tell me of the fee while getting the estimate done. He didn't even call and try to get ahold of me to tell me over the phone either. He only called me once and left a message saying I was being charged an extra fee for the tire. No explanation why, no callback to try and reach me again, just a message. He couldn't even own up to his mistake that caused so much confusion. The point is, these guys made it right and made me happy. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends. However, I'm going to start shopping arrpund for a new insurance provider because of all this. It was just unacceptable to me. Thanks guys you're awesome!
