WE ARE THRILLED TO ALLOW YOU TO VIEW OUR STATE OF THE ART
BLOWTHERM AUTOMOTIVE PAINT CURING BOOTH.
THE BOOTH ALLOWS FOR SPRAY PAINTING USING DOWN DRAFT TECHNOLOGY
ALONG WITH SUPER HEATED AIR WHICH REDUCES CURING TIMES,
EVEN IN HIGH HUMIDITY.
AT Barker Buick GMC, WE WERE LOOKING FOR A WATERBORNE SOLUTION TO SPRAY PAINT OUR VEHICLES BECAUSE OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS. WE CHOSE THE NITRO THERM SPRAY SYSTEM WHICH USES HEATED NITROGEN INSTEAD OF OXYGEN. THIS SYSTEM SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVES TRANSFER EFFICIENCY FOR WATERBORNE AND SOLVENT-BASED PAINTS AND REDUCES PAINT CURING TIME.
NITROGEN IS ANHYDROUS, MEANING IT DOESN’T CONTAIN WATER, SO SHOPS IN HUMID AREAS HAVE AN EASIER TIME USING WATERBORNE PAINTS EVEN IN A MOISTURE HEAVY ENVIRONMENT. HEATING THE NITROGEN REDUCES THE VISCOSITY OF THE PAINT WHICH REDUCES THE NEED FOR SOLVENTS, ELIMINATES STATIC ELECTRICITY AND REDUCES OVERSPRAY.
WE ARE ONE OF 250 IN THE UNITED STATES TO INVEST IN THIS TECHNOLOGY.
USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT BY OUR HIGHLY SKILLED PAINT TECHNICIANS ASSURES A LIKE NEW APPEARANCE TO THE EXTERIOR OF YOUR VEHICLE.
JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY “IT’S BETTER AT BARKER.”
