I feel that staff should've done a much better job of providing regular updates on the status of my repair. I had 2 claims being completed at the same time. I was told that my car would be ready the next day when only one claim was complete.
When I called back for clarification, I was told it would be over a week until completion. I was then told that my vehicle would be ready on 9/2. I made arrangements to leave work, but didn't receive an update until 7:03 pm on 9/2. The update was to tell me that the car wouldn't be ready on 9/2 but perhaps Tuesday. Tuesday came with no communication. I was then contacted at 4:45 pm on Wednesday 9/7 stating that my repair was complete.
If staff is too busy to conduct status update calls then email/text updates should replace them. My last text was received on 8/25.

I thought the accident and repairs was the start of an unpleasant experience for me. I was very pleased with the updates on the progress of the repairs. The service team was very cordial and informative every step of the process, and my car was finished earlier than estimated

I personally feel like because I was inconvenienced more than one time. I should get a free week rental or something. I had a car that registration sticker expired, spent half a day to exchange. The next vehicle was smaller and smelled. My car was to only take **** wk but it took 2. My dash board gauges is still not functioning like I told technician. Which happened the day after the accident. I have never had an experience like this one. In all my years of being a loyal Geico customer. I am just really upset about this situation.
