We picked up our car after dark and did not notice the cruise control switch was broken until the next morning. We also had no reason to specifically check it when we picked it up, because there were no repairs done near that area. Upon noticing it was broken, I took the car back to show them immediately (before 8am), and was told by Mr. Coleman he knew it was not broken when I brought it in, and they would order a new one, and call me to replace it when it came in. Later that day however, he called me to let me know, “none of his guys in the shop saw it broken”, (seeming to imply it was not broken when we picked it up night before) so he would have to talk to his manager to see what they could do. I still have not heard back from him about what the manager said. I could understand there being a possible question about it if I brought the car back several days later, but I brought it back immediately, first thing in the morning after we picked up the car the night before. Again, I had NO reason to check that area for damage when I picked it. The repair was on my front cap from hitting a deer! I did not notice the broken switch on the way home because I did not try to use the cruise control. In the morning going to work, my husband DID try to use it and that is when we noticed it was broken. Once we got to work, he went in and I took to car back to Allied. Even though, “none of the guys” are willing to take responsibility for it breaking it, one of them did break it and they likely know they did. It is extremely upsetting that we are now getting the run around about it.

Parts were not pre ordered and there when vehicle was scheduled to be Brought in as requested and agreeed to. Was told it would take 3-4 days for repair, five days and still was missing parts. Then was told this parts would be in for sure on Tuesday the following week ( they were not ) arrived on Wednesday and I had to call at the end of the day to find that out.

The text system that alerts customers of updates needs to be done earlier in the day. I was scheduled to pick up my car at 4:00 and wouldn't have known it was delayed unless I had called. The GM called and offered a rental for the extra day it was going to take and that helped us out tremendously. Would definitely use Allied again!!
