AutoNation staff were courteous, competent and took care of all the details such as diagnosing damage and repair, car rental, and scheduling. From the moment I walked into Auto Nation, everyone was very attentive and easy to talk to. Our Estimator, Luis Negrao was very polite and more than helpful, even asking if they could call Hertz for a ride if I needed one (which I had my daughter with me so didn't need a ride). I was kept informed on every aspect of the repairs to my car. I will be calling (and referring to friends and family) Luis again, if the need arrises. Kind Regards, Debbie ****

I called Luis on 05/25/18 regarding the status of the repairs to my vehicle, and he listed the repairs for me. He did not mention anything about the rim of my tire (which I knew needed repair), so I asked him about it. He told me that alignments were taken care of after the bodywork...the alignment wasn't even what I had just asked him about. I mentioned the rim again, and he gave me a similar response. I felt like he wasn't really listening to me, but brushing off my question (which I thought was a simple one) instead. Then Luis called me on 05/29/18 to tell me my vehicle had been completed a little earlier than the estimated finish date, and it was ready to be picked up. I asked him about the rim of my tire again. He told me that looking at the computer system, it said my vehicle was done, so it must have been taken care of, but he would double check himself. Luis never called me back concerning this, so on 5/30/18 I drove over an hour to AutoNation to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at Hertz (just a couple miles away from AutoNation) at around 12:30 P.M., and I was in the process of returning my rental when Luis called to tell me that my vehicle was not ready and they were working on the wheel...the one thing I kept asking him about. He told me he expected the repairs to take an hour and a half, so I told him that since I had driven over an hour to get there, I would just wait for it. He said, "Well, it could take longer...you never know. It is better if you don't wait, and I'll call you when it is ready." I had to ask the manager at Hertz to undo everything they had just done in their system and drive the car back around because I now needed the rental for an additional day. I also had to drive over an hour home, knowing that I would have to make this trip AGAIN when my vehicle was ready. Luis did NOT call me when the repairs to my vehicle were completed, so on 05/31/18 I called AutoNation at 7:40 A.M. and was informed that Luis was not in yet and the person I was speaking with did not know the status of my vehicle. I asked that Luis call me as soon as he arrived because I was waiting to hear back before driving there to pick up my vehicle and I was missing work in the meantime. Luis returned my phone call at 7:47 A.M. and told me that my vehicle was ready. He did not apologize for the events of the previous day. Again I drove an hour to retrieve my vehicle from AutoNation, and when I arrived a gentleman named Scott assisted me with the final paperwork, but while I was still at the counter Luis appeared. Luis told me, "When they put the keys in the office, we assume they're done with the vehicle, so when I saw your keys, I assumed they were done. It was just a miscommunication." I told him that since he promised to personally check my vehicle when we spoke on 05/29/18, he should have called me when he first realized it had not been completed. He then explained that they had been really busy, so what happened really wasn't his fault. He took zero responsibility for the situation and acted as if it was just one of those things that can't be prevented and no one is at fault. When I received my keys and got into my vehicle, I noticed that my antenna was sitting on the passenger seat...I walked back inside with it in hand. Luis was still standing there with Scott. Scott was actually the one who walked with me back to my vehicle to attach the antenna for me. Scott was very kind, helpful, and apologetic (even though he had done nothing wrong). He offered to have the general manager reach out to me regarding this situation - I am awaiting that phone call. When all is said and done, I had well over 6 hours of travel time back and forth to AutoNation...

I try to limit my visits to AutoNation Collision for obvious reasons; however, when the vehicles need fixing, I don't hesitate to make AutoNation my first choice. Great customer service, prompt updates, quick turnaround time, and quality repair / auto body work. Couldn't ask for better people to work with when in need! Thanks, Scott!

Once again you made the repair process a pleasant experience. Not happy that the vehicle was damaged in the first place but have relief knowing that the vehicle was repaired to Mercedes Benz standards, and done in the time frame as promised.
