I had full confidence in working with Auto Nation after my first meeting with Blair ****. Blair took a good look at the damage to my car and showed me each piece that needed to be replaced. The car was a 1982 Mercedes 300 CD which is a rare model and Blair went the extra mile to make sure the repair was done correctly at a reasonable price. While my auto insurance person, AAA, advised me of the adjuster's estimate of both cost and time it would take to fix my auto repair, these were both way out of the actual time and cost it did take to fix my Mercedes Benz C450 AMG. This may have been both out of the control of the insurance adjuster and Auto Nation advisor, but, this lengthy time was way over what I was expecting. The estimated "one day repair" (made by he AAA adjuster) turned out to be actually five days. The cost was actually three times more than the original estimate. I was just so glad to finally get my car back and it looks brand new again, I am still distressed at everything in the whole experience, mostly the time factor, that it took to fix my car. A bumper repair that someone inflicted on my car while I was not even in the car! Whoever did this damage had to know they did this damage and did not stop to report it. I know the Auto Nation has no control over the length of time it takes to get parts, but, therein lies the problem. What can be done about a part coming from Jackson, FL to Sarasota, FL (a four hour auto drive) to take five days to arrive? Something is very wrong with this system. I am not satisfied to hear that is a mail systems problem. We have all been told these kind of problems are someone else's problem and it is time to get over that unacceptable attitude and demand that these problems are fixed by those in control of the issue. I am sure that I not the first nor only person who is quite annoyed with this situation.
