The wiring harness wasn't installed 100% correctly, this caused a major fault in the engine and could have blown my motor and activated the check engine light and a start/ stop fault warning. Also, the idle was choppy and the motor sounded very rough However, after I brought it to the attention of the staff when I picked my car up, they advised it was OK to drive my car and I should schedule with my dealership to have them fix the fault under my cars warranty. They advised the issue pre-dated my accident and that the light was just now turning on. I advised that none of the warning lights had everturned on before the accident and that it was idling and driving beautifully before the accident. I made the appointment for my dealership to check it out. The dealership told me NOT to drive the car anywhere until my appointment as the default code showing on the report moodys have me could absolutely lead to my engine blowing. So I had no vehicle from the 12th to the 16th, when my dealership appointment was. Turns out, when they connected the wiring harness, the pins weren't straight and this caused an arching connection. The dealership advised me not to drive the car anywhere until it was fixed as this issue led to my xam shady sensor not working, which could absolutely cause my motor to blow. I was frantic, I didn't have the money for the repair. I tried reaching my progressive representative all morning. Finally i called a family member to borrow the money and just paid the dealership to fix it, my moodys rep called me just after I left the dealership. From this point, they advised me to send them a copy of the bill from their Sanford shop as I was in Sanford at Marc Motors Nissan. The entire ordeal was horrible, I stressed all week and then all day and moodys should have just fixed it initially. I don't understand how they replaced my wiring harness and either didn't test drive it, or did and just ignored a default code and let me pick it up like that and let me drive out of their lot either, knowing it might blow my motor or having never checked what the code meant. I was so anxious I had a full blown anxiety attack trying to drive it to the dealership. Even without the default code issue. I was not happy that I never got a call from Moodys with my estimate and then I got no update calls on when the car would be ready, so that I could prepare a rental properly. After the accident, I kept receiving texts, telling me to go to the car and take photos. I drive a hour to moodys to take photos and was told the estimate had already been submitted. Moodys told me approximately July 15th. However, the insurance company told me July 5th. Then on the 3rd, when I had received no updates, I called moodys and was told the 10th, then on the 9th, after receiving no update calls, I called and was told the 12th. In my opinion, this was all way more stressful than it should have been. I don't know that I'll choose moodys if I need repairs in the future. The experience overall, just felt bad!

Broken suspension whcich was fine before the accident, had to show them the rip in the tire from the accident, wheel got trashed when the tire was changed, overall dissappointing when usually everything is great there

Like all body shops, Moody's was booked pretty far out but Steve kept me informed. Once the car got in, I got further updates and it was finished before the date promised. Steve also coordinated the rental car with my insurance company which made things way less stressful. It was the best of a bad situation. The work was well done and completed on time. My only complaint would be that I needed to call multiple times on the day I was due to pick up my vehicle to find out if the work was completed and the car was ready for pickup.

I appreciate the quick service, the interior/exterior cleaning, and the excellent color match. I’m surprised by some of the paint imperfections though. I tried to find the best place to get this job done, and I’m surprised to find some issues – like substantial overspray (which I saw immediately and got the shop to clean off) and a bunch of pinholes in the paint near a small collapsed bubble. I worry that they may cause issues in time, and it would be nice to get them inspected and resolved if at all possible.

Pls do not contact me. I filled out previous survey and said only not totally satisfied was receptionist did not acknowledge me while waiting and could have been friendlier. Chris, who I met initially and spoke on phone to later and may have done the repair, was fantastic in every way. I've done 2 surveys now and wish to opt out. thank you!
