We were told the repair would take 5 to 7 business days. On the 7th business day we were told another 14 days (until February 28th) would be be necessary. The reason given was that it was determined that the fenders needed to be painted to match the hood. No body work, just painting. It did not make sense to me that painting two fenders would take another two weeks and that that was not known at the time the original estimate was provided. However I decided to go with the flow. As we approached February 28th, l started getting messages that suggested additional delays might be necessary. We did not hear a status report on the 27th, so late in the afternoon I drove to your place of business to inspect the progress on the project. I learned that the delays were attributable to after market parts received that did not fit and factory parts had to be ordered. Ok, I could understand that. Early in the process I told Sarah that we used the CRV to transport grandchildren and did not have rental insurance but could manage with our 3rd vehicle, a 2003 mustang Mach I. I would have preferred to have heard the truth about after marked parts that needed to be reordered at the time that became known as the reason the repairs would be delayed.

I would recommend that you clean the car windows completely. All my windows had a film on them from, I think, paint dust. It was pretty hard to get off. Other than that, good job.

Everyone at Southwest was courteous and efficient; they had all the papers ready for me when I got there, and dealt with my insurance company directly without bothering me with unnecessary details. I am very happy with the work they did; it was done on time, as promised, and done well. I would recommend Southwest to others Who needed to have their cars fixed.
