At B & E Automotive Services, we love all of today's vehicles, because almost every day in Virginia Beach, VA we hear amazing vehicles like the Koenigsegg Regera.
The new Koenigsegg Regera was initially designed to be a luxury mega-car alternative to the rest of the carmaker's ultra-extreme, super lightweight, race-ready passenger vehicles.
The Koenigsegg Regera is an amalgamation of a mega-powerful twin-turbo V8 internal combustion engine coupled with three electric motors and featuring cutting-edge battery power via new powertrain technology called Koenigsegg Direct Drive. This out-of-the-box technology has completely eliminated the conventional gearbox, thereby making the car lighter and exceedingly more efficient.
Regera is Swedish for “to Reign” – an appropriate name for a this sophisticated vehicle that features a potent combination of pure power, trigger responsiveness and over-the-top luxury.
We're not doing an ad here for the Koenigsegg Regera, but we have to admit that is is as close to a race car than anything else you'll see on the road. With its superior technology and bells and whistles galore, the Regera is relatively light, but can still stick to the road, even on tight turns or on a race circuit.
Koenigsegg has committed to making only 80 Regeras at its impressive factory located in Ängelholm, Sweden. For the very first time, they will have two models in parallel production.
There's a lot of carbon fiber in the Regera, with carbon fiber wheels to go along its carbon fiber body and features. The vehicle's removable roof panel is a cool feature and saddle brown leather interior is a beautiful touch. The car also uses four Michelin's new Pilot Sport 4S tires.
With adjustable sport seats,, the Regera has Apple CarPlay (but no Android Auto), two phone charging, awesome surround view cameras, and Koenigsegg's Autoskin system that enables the driver to open all of the doors or hoods with simply the touch of a button. Color options vary, as one of the other first-run cars is decked out in candy apple red carbon fiber.
On, one last detail about the Koenigsegg Regera, You can buy one tomorrow to impress your friends and neighbors, but you better have excellent credit or $2.4 million in the bank, because that's how much this hybird supercar is going to cost you!
