I my 2017 CR-V was in your shop for repairs during the month of June2017. I was called to pick up the vehicle on 29Jun2017. Upon my arrival your shop, after a bit of inspection, your shop determined that the power tailgate was not calibrated properly. Steven came out and explained that the vehicle would need to be taken to Honda to be set properly, and that they would need to keep it for at least one more day. I asked him about the status of my rental vehicle, and who would be covering the cost of the rental for the extra day. Steven assured me that your shop would contact both the rental company and my insurance to ensure that I did not get charged for this extra day. He said that if I did get charged, Brandywine Coachworks would reimburse the expense. I picked up my CR-V the following day (29Jun2017) and returned the rental vehicle. On 02Aug2017, Enterprise Rent-A-Car charged my credit card $32.78. When I called to inquiry about this charge, they informed me that this charge was for the extra day, and that they had not received any authorization from the insurance company for this extra day. Upon calling Brandywine Coachworks on 09Aug2017, I asked to speak with Steven, Bryan answered. I explained the situation to Bryan and he said that he would figure out what was going on. After not hearing anything for several days, I called again. Bryan explained that Brandywine Coachworks would be sending me a check to reimburse me for the charge. Unfortunately he could not provide me with a time frame as to when I should expect to receive the check. Since it has been 4 weeks since my initial inquiry, and I am frustrated with the level of communication and support regarding this reimbursement.

The repairs were done ahead of schedule. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. All of our questions were answered. I felt as if my business and presence were appreciated. Very professional, very courteous. Excellent repairs. Car looks and rides like it just came off the showroom floor.

Over my 50 years of driving, this was my first experience with a car body shop which could be consider as unlucky or lucky. What was lucky was bringing my car to Brandywine Coach. From the many company updates to the phone calls and emails from Brian Shufelt, I knew that my car was in very good hands. Your company is very fortunate to have Brian as an employee. From the moment I walked through your door to when I picked up my car, Brian was courteous, conscientious, and reassuring that my car's damage would be fixed like new. Thank you for such a great first experience which I hope is my only one. However, if it isn't, I will definitely bring my car to Brandywine and will recommend your service company to family and friends. Loved the car wash and vacuuming service too, thank you! Cathy
