Insurance claim. Quick and easy at drop off. Rental car was waiting. Work was completed sooner than expected. Just as quick and easy at pick up. I've used Bel Kirk for years and was nervous about a new shop. I was very impressed with the professionalism, speed, and quality at Lakeside. I loved the real time text alerts with status. Jameson was very friendly and helpful, but there were way too many problems with the work on the relatively small job that was done on my car. The technicians paid no attention to detail, requiring me to fix some of the problems they caused myself. There were still problems with the work even after a second visit to make adjustments.

Your electronic messaging related to when our car would be ready was consistently incorrect. I believe that you preset your system with the initially estimated time and then do not go into the system to chang it. As your customer, this resulted in confusion, inconvenience, irritation and the inability to plan accordingly. You also sent the text out on behalf of Geico which made it impossible to know who was really sending the message. At some point you sent a telephone message saying that the car was ready days earlier and asked why we hadn't picked it up yet - while simultaneously sending a text that it would be ready on Jan 11th as planned. After we picked it up we received a text that the car was almost ready. This is poor customer service. Sue and Alan (Toyota Avalon)
