I was completely underwhelmed with the level of service at King Collision.
It all started with me walking into the side entrance of one of your offices. There was a group of men standing there socializing and a girl working hard at a front desk. I politely asked the men where I would need to go if I had an appointment. One of them snarkly told me that "typically people go to the front desk" and laughed.
My car was delayed. I was given notice that my car would need extra time for repairs at 3 pm on the day I was due to pick up my car. I had had to rearrange my work schedule so this was a disappointment.
When my car was due to be finished the second time, I got a call at 3pm the day of saying my car was on track and would be ready in an hour. Two hours later I got a call saying that the mechanic had punctured my bumper and my car would be ready in the morning. Which meant I had yet again changed my work schedule for nothing.
The next morning, I called the shop to see if my brother could pick up my car for me. The receptionist said he could. I told her the description of my car and she said it would be fine. My brother went to the shop and they told him the car was not ready. I called the shop to talk to the rep. I asked him why the car was not done, he said the part was still not in. I asked him why I had received a text saying that my car was done, and he said it was not a reliable system where all they do is press a button. What I don't understand is why I was told in my voice-mail that my car would be finished in the morning? Why did the receptionist not inform me that the car was still not finished? And why would you press a button to send an alert, if the car was not finished?
Lastly, when I went to pick up the car. I had to come two days after it was done because I refused to move my schedule again. I was given a folder and hardly given any eye contact when I paid my bill. No one took the time to explain what repairs had been made. I simply got a "we guarantee this for life, your details are in the folder".
I manage in the service industry so I completely understand that complications come up. I understand that there can be miscommunication. I am extremely disappointed by the level of service I have received. I do not intend to ever come back to King Collision again. And I have already vividly expressed my dissapontmentime to my family, colleagues, and friends. I hope that from this message you can identify gaps in your service so that no one has to go through the level of service that I did.

The collision department was very professional and helpful and I am very pleased with them and their service.
After the body repair I took the car to the service department where the front end people, especially Dave were very rude and unhelpful. I paid $900 for repairs to the car and the brakes still skweek and make grinding noise. Upon returning to the service department I was confronted by Dave who was unprofessional and unhelpful. I decided to take my car for a brake redo to my local mechanic and will not return to the dealership for service again.
