Dent in the bumper wasn’t addressed and the repair doesn’t match the opposite side of the truck and my tail light looks like it doesn’t fit the hole correctly.

Overall my vehicle was in the shop shy of one month, it went to the shop the second week of July and I just got it back yesterday. Punctuality was not present. After working with my contact person and making many phone calls, leaving messages and not getting back to me I decided to stop by in person the last week of July and really start to figure out why things were moving so slowly. My vehicle was ready to come to the shop on July 17th, but I was informed that I needed to make an appointment, I was puzzled at first but then figured this would ensure that my vehicle would take priority if autonation only takes what it can handle to provide a quick turn around and quality work. I was very wrong! My insurance adjuster was puzzled after week number two when he advices that the “suggested labor time” for my repair was only 5-7 days. I know that’s probably perfect and unrealistic to expect a one week turn around, after all my vehicle required parts from a different shop so I at least anticipated two weeks upon hearing the suggestion timeframe. 3 weeks went by, after I showed up in person on Monday, August 6th and I was told that I would need to wait until Wednesday for my vehicle to be ready. The staff was friendly, accommodating to my many questions, polite about things I didn’t know, but at the end of the day this is a business and taking 4 weeks on a **** week job would not be acceptable in any other business! I returned Wednesday, keeping low expectations, it was on a machine to have the frame straightened out, I was told to come back on friday, so I did. Friday I was told the car had finally gone into the paint booth, I am no mechanic or expert in painting cars but I’ve seen tv shows and know that this is not a 8 hour endeavor, so I realized my vehicle would not be ready that day. This was considered when I was asked to come back on Monday, but the problem was that my insurance agreement states that I only have rental vehicle coverage for 30 days and Monday, August 13th would be my 30th. (Accident happened on July 13th and I picked up the rental that day even though I waited for the appointment to take my vehicle to the shop. Monday finally came, worried that ny vehicle would not be ready I prepared to hear the worst case scenario and tried to figure out how my family would get by without a car since paying out of pocket would not be a buyable option at this time. Sadly I showed up and the vehicle was painted but not fully assembled, upon hearing this I presented my case and made my contact person aware that I was out of time and either I took my vehicle home or I would be without a vehicle because my rental agreement had expired. On this the shop did step up and take responsibility for their demised timeliness and offered to pay for the extra days on the rental, which at this point is the very least they could offer. I was told that the vehicle might be ready on Wednesday, but I didn’t get a call so I decided to go see my vehicle and find out if it was ready about 5:0 pm since they close at 6. Again it was not ready, and rather than being apologetic and sympathetic, my contact person was patrionazing and downplayed the fact that the vehicle was still not ready by pointing out that the shop would call when the vehicle was ready and I “didn’t need to come up there”. At this point the vehicle was almost all out back together, I was reassured that they were going to pay for the additional rental days and asked to come back at the end of business on Thursday; which I did only to find out that the vehicle was “being washed and vacuumed, and that it would take at least another hour to be ready. I didn’t plan to wait for an hour so I asked to see it and at last it was put all back together. But was told that the wash would have to wait for the next day because someone at the shop had “misplaced” my keys, after they moved my vehicle out of their way, which caused a further delay in getting it cleaned out. With no other choice I would have to come back Friday. on Friday I received a call with good and bad news, telling me that my vehicle was finally ready for pickup, and that I could come get it; BUT that they did not have the insurance check that I had turned over to them when I delivered my car, they assumed that it was in my possession and requested that I bring it to them when I pickup the vehicle. Of course, I didn’t fully remember if I had given it to them, and did not want to assume they lost it. It had been almost a full month, 4 weeks at this point so I didn’t discount that I could have just left it in my files at home. I went home after I finished my work day, scoured through every piece of mail and other items I had in my folder for this incident and did not find the check. I worried but went to the shop to show them that I did not have it, and it was at this point that my contact person reviewed the documents I had originally turned into to them...and found the check attached to that paperwork. I certainly do not claim to be perfect, I make mistakes, so I do not intend to get anyone in trouble by making this complaint, but as a whole I hope that Autonation will read this and attempt to improve in attention to detail, punctuality, accuracy, and commitment to excellence. My service would be rated a 8 out of 10 with 10 being outstanding service if it wasn’t for the excuses, delays, time wasted of me having to come to the shop in person to get things moving, and lack of accuracy in reporting when the vehicle would be ready. I would rate my experience a 3 out of 10 and only because my contact person was friendly and my vehicle does look good in spite of all the other logistical problems and punctuality issues.

I am a very satisfied customer this is the second time I used yours company Quick Service emails let me know what was happening with my vehicle I really appreciate all your help but your lip a little bit of paint on my car I know it comes off but that was the only thing that I saw that was wrong but other than that I love this company and I will go back again and again in the future I'll tell all my family and friends about this company I appreciate the help and Maya was a very sweet lady I appreciate all the help she gave me thank you and God bless

We found a lot of issues when they said the car was done. It’s seen like no one inspect the vehicle before they said it was ready and no one call to update the status of the repair, I would call to check on the car and it would take a day or two before someone would call you back. I still need to take the car back for something that was not damage in the first place. The car must have been sitting for a while that why the leather started coming undone. The back ground effect was lose so they use screw to hold it in place. Over all I felt that all they wanted was the money. Not the satisfaction of the customer. I will not recommend to my friend and family to take vehicle of there.

Beverly Eckenrod was awesome! My parts were promptly ordered and then I brought my car in. Two additional parts were needed and promptly ordered again and installed the next day! Took my car in Tuesday the 17th evening and work started Wednesday with a promise date for pickup Friday the 20th at 6pm. During work process I got text updateds and then Friday morning I got a text saying my car was ready. I was so happy to get it early on a Friday!!! At noon Fridai picked up a freshly washed and vacuumed car wooohooo! I also very much appreciated prompt rides to and from rental car facility to pick up and drop rental car. Thank you sooooo much Beverly and your awesome team!
