My front end was rebuilt, and now my headlights don't point to the same area. One of them is basically useless because the angle of the beam is so steep into the area in front of me so I can only see things 20-30+ feet ahead on the right side of my car.

The process was not smooth at all and the quality of the repair is questionable.
I signed the authorization for repairs on my car on a thirsday fternoon and was told someone would call me to schedule the repair, no one called me and I had to call in Monday afternoon to schedule the repair. I told the guys there that only Brand new Nissan parts be used on my car and also noted it on the repair authorization I signed. I called state farm and spoke with a manager and she approved the new Nissan parts and she called and spoke with the shop to authorize the brand new Nissan parts. When I saw that the estimate was completed with reconditioned parts I called the body shop and informed them that it was not ok to use reconditioned parts on my car and statefarm had approved the new Nissan parts already. I was told that the guy I spoke to would tell his boss and get it taken care of. I believe that was on a Wednesday, my car was scheduled to be completed by Tuesday of the following week. There was not a new estimate written for the correct parts. Magically I got a text on Friday morning that my car was complete. Shocked that my car was done and frustrated with the thought that reconditioned parts were used on my car I went to the body shop right away and requested the invoice for the parts that were used on my car. I’m still at a loss as to how the new parts could have been obtained so quickly and the repair work was done faster than the original date if they had to switch supplier for the Nissan parts. None the less after waiting with my 18 month old son for quite some time I was given an invoice for the Nissan parts and told that the parts were new Nissan parts as I requested. I of course don’t have a way of confirming that in fact they were at this time. It was raining heavily at the time and everything appeared to look okay with my car. I was told by the guy i was talking to that statefarm had not called the shop and they weren’t aware that statefarm approved the new Nissan parts so they had the Nissan parts price miatch the reconditioned parts. I have worked in insurance claims for nearly 10 years and have never seen one parts be priced matched to reconditioned parts. I called statefarm while waiting and confirmed the name of the manager who called the body shop and who she spoke with while i was waiting. So here another question and conflict of information lies, if statefarm never called and authorized the Nissan parts why did whoever get nissan to price match the reconditioned parts. Shortly after leaving I stopped to get gas and was inspecting my cars repairs and noticed that the scratches on the quarter panel were not repaired. I called the shop and was told that they thought my repair job was was rear bumper only. His is almost mind boggling to me as they wrote the estimate for repairs which included the painting of the quarter panel as well as some repair to the wheel well. I was told to bring my car back and they would take care of it. I returned to the shop still with my 18 month son who was now sleeping and there was no parking spaces available and it was again raining heavily. I called and requested that someone come out to talk to me and so I could show them the issue. The guys did but were quite dismissive of my complaint and. Said to just bring it back by and they would buff the scratches out. I had to cancel the appraisal appointment i had made for my car for Monday in Augusta as well as my plans to be out of town on Monday to return to the bodyshop and wait while they buffed the scratches out.
My car is only 4 months old and I am not happy with the repair experience I had there and I don’t trust the repair was done appropriately with the new Nissan parts that were supposed to be used. It’s hard to trust the quality of the repair women and even my car (as far as the back up sensors) when I don’t trust the shop. I truly believe that the bodyshop rushed my repair as evident by the oversight of the scratches left on my car to get it out of their shop before the weekend to reduce the rental despite statefarm already approving the downtime and rental through Tuesday. The bodyshop should have taken the time that they wrote the estimate to properly repair and paint my car.

They did an excellent job on repairing my damage and I liked being kept up to date with the status via text. My only complaint is that it looks like my rubber floor mats were cleaned with a pressure washer or something and it took the finish off of them.
