while I am quite pleased with the quality workmanship and final restoration of my vehicle, I was unhappy with the mixed communication and delays I experienced though the process. When I had the car towed to the body shop at the request of my insurance adjuster, I was told the assessment and repair would be as much as two weeks. I then rented a car, since I live in another state, based on that estimate. Within 2 days I received an email telling me the repair work was under way, then in a couple more days I got an update saying "your Toyota is looking good". After a week and a half had gone by, and I had received more such positive updates, I called the shop and was told they were just that day planning to start on my car and that it would probably take another 10 days to complete. I ended up having to pay an additional week car rental, and rearrange appointments as well as my travel to pick up my vehicle.

At pick up, everyone was very friendly and I felt very welcomed. However, at drop off, I felt somewhat like a burden. I did overhear that they were short staffed that day due to employee illness, so that may be the reason behind it. Also, the young woman at the front desk could be friendlier/more welcoming. All things considered, I’d give the experience a 9/10.

ABRA did a wonderful job repairing my car and was even able to finish the repairs ahead of the schedule repair date. Very surprised to see how new it looked and felt when I picked it up. The staff were great. I was kept apprised of the repair progress the entire time through text messages and phone calls. Thank you, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to repair my damaged car.

Hood latch is not working properly. Hood pops unlocked at random times and doesn’t open or respond to the lever at other times.

I had a horrible experience. Told my car would be ready so I went to pick it up, had rearranged my daughter's bday weekend plans bc I also would need to return the rental I had and surprise, my car wasn't ready. When I finally did get it, four days later, I was the one having to call in every day to find out the status. And it was returned with $40 of personal belongings missing. I tried addressing this with Matt, the guy who was my point person and he completely failed me in trying to make things right. Another employee was completely belittling to me and expressed zero empathy. I've had the car for two days now and it drives heavy and the rear camera has a weird view. I think the alignment may also be off. Idk if they checked these things and I am so frustrated by my experience that I don't even want to step foot back into that place. I want these things checked out but I don't want to go back to them after the way I was treated and my frustrations dismissed.
