The repairs were done through a 3rd party hail damage repair company. The communication between Reliable and Nexterra (3rd party) was poor and my vehicle sat 8 days before I came by and asked how it was going? They had not started yet. Reliable did not know that the work was authorized to begin and did not reach out to anyone to ask, “why is this Audi sitting here?” I had to pay extended costs in the rental vehicle. Not totally Reliable’s fault, but someone should have asked the question.

The work done was very nice, but it took much to long to complete! And the feedback/interaction with service advisor was horrible. I had to call to learn about delays. He never once called me to let me know. He would say during a call the car would be ready on Friday, I'd call Friday, and he'd say not until next Wednesday. I'd call the next Wednesday, and he'd say not until the following Monday, etc. It was a nightmare.

The repair part was perfect, and the people are very nice, personable, and a pleasure to work with. What makes the whole experience a major hassle to have to deal with is the disconnect with the car rental company(s). In a perfect world, I should be able to get a non-gouge price for a car rental simply by proving I’m having my car repaired at Reliable Chevrolet. Pick a lane, ur...ah a car rental company, and tell them that they either need to give your body work customers the same deal currently being offered to insurance company customers, or you will be sending all those customers to a different car rental company. This should be a no-brainer for them. That rental price should be the same price that they should be giving to your body work customers in any case, per the deal (contracted deal) that they already have in place with the various insurance companies. What Enterprise does is double the price (approx.). The customer has to send in the rental bill nowadays to have the insurance company reimburse them, leaving the customer that was renting a car due to their car being repaired in the body shop, which the insurance company is already on the hook for, to pay the body shop. But they are, in effect, not honoring their contracted rental price that they have agreed to with the insurance companies, leaving the individual consumer on the hook for the difference... they actually charge individuals almost double. I had the insurance company call in to get me a car at their contracted price (the price the insurance company would actually cover). I also got a call and a car right away when the insurance company got involved. Twenty-four hours after I picked up the car, they finally called me to let me know that they finally had a car for me. Reliable Chevrolet should have a negotiator contact Enterprise about how they plan to turn the whole car rental process into a much more seamless and pleasant process for Reliable’s customers. It took me four days to get a rental. Other body shops have much better deals with rental companies for their customers; Reliable’s legal office should really be all over fixing this gaping hole in its ability to provide a more pleasant experience for it's customers. It’s not the sort of thing that is going to fix itself. Someone (preferably an experienced professional negotiator) from Reliable will have to actually explain to the rental company what the future relationship is going to be like. A simple agreement shouldn’t be out of the question, tying up loos ends like limitations of liability, proprietary rights, and other standard terms, along with explanations of who picks up who, time limits for providing vehicles with reasonable penalties for when they fail, etc.. It is obvious that Reliable hasn’t approached the whole car rental arrangement with a reputable rental company as a customer satisfaction issue or basic business necessity.

Nicole is the best. Nothing is easy during Covid times and everything **** when your car gets broken into. Reliable and Nicole really helped me out when Allstate wouldn’t. They secured my car on their lot and got my tailgate glass replaced right away despite several hurdles. I buy from Reliable, I get serviced at Reliable and I get my repairs at Reliable. I know them, I trust them and I like them more with every new encounter I have with the staff. Thanks, Nicole! I appreciate you!!
