Everyone in the office was so rude. The only nice person I met was the mechanic. They gave me an estimated completion date of 11/11 and I didn’t get my car back until 11/19. The problem with that was not the extra week, it was that they kept telling me “tomorrow” every since day. Impossible to plan around and said I would have a 2 hour window from whenever they decided it was done to return the rental car and pick up my completed car. We were on pins and needles for a whole week!

TL;DR: Awesome team, awesome service, awesome work, from estimate to delivery. Due to my overall experience, I have enough confidence in CarStar's pricing, service, and professionalism to give them 100% of any future work.
Out of the 4 shops I went to for estimates, not only was CarStar the lowest, but also the only one that pointed out potential (and common) additional costs related to the door cladding (damage that wouldn’t be visible until the cladding was removed). The estimator didn't just mention these costs, but he also listed the materials and time as an addendum to the estimate should new cladding be required.
After dropping the car off I was sent a link where I could track the status of the repair, an updated estimate, and a projected completion date. This greatly alleviated the usual anxiety around when I'd actually get my car back and how much it would really cost. The repair took an extra day than estimated, but they were able to repair, rather than replace, the original cladding. This saved me over $500 since most body shops would take the easy route and replace the panels and then hit me with that cost on delivery.
Finally, on delivery, since the actual cost was slightly higher than the estimate, the person that took my payment went through the various charges and discounted everything she could. The final cost was within roughly $100 of the original estimate.

The car is still telling me it’s 118 degrees outside when it’s obviously not.
There’s also a knocking sound when you hit the brake and sometimes make a turn. It’s been 2 weeks and not even an update about when we can go back to have this looked at and repaired.
