The engine light was on when I picked it up and was told that they forgot to reconnect the thermometer and that they were angry about not being able to bill ARI for this again. My windshield was cracked and I was told that it was my fault from a rock....nope. I had told TC that he didn’t have to wash it cause it was raining outside and wouldn’t be helpful, but the inside of my car was so dirty with foot prints and oily fingerprints, it was pathetic. TC was good and helpful, but with all of the above issues at the end, left me with a bad taste for the way service king repairs vehicles.

(****) The SK location had me physically come by to sign a digital screen the morning after my vehicle was towed there before work could begin. There was no other reason for me to come in. When asked why I couldn’t do this through email, I was told that wasn’t an option. Through a subsequent call to SK Customer Service, I learned digital signing by email was an option. This issue may have already been addressed, although it was a considerable inconvenience to me. (2) When my vehicle was ready, the service advisor seemed displeased that I might not be able to pick up my vehicle as soon as he’d like. I couldn’t do it that afternoon when I was told the vehicle was ready, and the following day was Saturday, with only a three hour window. Otherwise, I’d have to stop by Monday. But just as SK has demands and timelines to return vehicles to customers, I also have demands and schedules where I can’t always allot time to get a vehicle that I haven’t had for a few weeks anyway. So I found it somewhat annoying to be encouraged to pick up a vehicle that has taken a little over two weeks to fix. I don’t mind the 2+ week wait. But, if I scheduled time to come get my vehicle every time I was notified it might be ready, I would have scheduled about 5 false alarms, because that’s how many times I received a “ready” date and time. As a result, I only considered scheduling pickup after confirmation that my vehicle was truly ready. (3) Upon picking up my vehicle, I was only given my insurance company’s estimate of work to be done. The packet did not include what was actually done. When I asked about this, the person helping me said it could be printed up for me. Why wasn’t it there in the first place? Is it routinely not included with final appear work delivered to the customer?
