Had a rocky start because my changed appointment was apparently not communicated properly. As a result, I wasn't expected when I arrived to drop off the car. The woman who checked me in seemed confused. After that, however, everything went very well. The text messaging to indicate the progression of the job was helpful. Thanks for an excellent result!

Over all the job was completed. It was the details that I felt could be better.
****) when I picked up the car it was sitting outside and had clearly not been rinsed off from the work that was done. There were/are small drops of something stuck to the surface. They seem to wash off but that seems like something that would have been done after the job was completed.
2) I was given no instructions for how to care for my newly painted bumper and rear trunk. Trying to remove the small globs of what ever is on the surface I used water and a microfiber towel to wipe down the painted surface. This seems to have been a terrible idea. It seems to have left tiny swirls in the newly painted surface. Nothing I can feel with my fingers or nails but I can see in the light. With some Googleing I found out that a newly painted car has very specific needs. Now that I am more aware how to care for my car I will attempt to have the trunk and rest of the car buffed to remove the micro swirls.
3) while the job did get done it felt rushed. I love my FR-S (Black Betty), and have worked hard to keep her in great shape and running smooth. A simple rinse down after the job was done by the professionals that know how to care for paint, simple explanation of future care dos and don'ts would have gone a long way.
4) the text message system is awesome. That's is a great feature and one that I was very impressed to see implemented.
Thanks for helping to put Betty back together I hate that I may have degraded the paint job right out the gate though.

My vehicle was in through geico insurance to have the drivers side door damage repaired. I dropped my vehicle off Friday Nov. 27, I picked up my vehicle on Dec 3 late afternoon, I had to ask for the service person to come out to my vehicle, when he did all he asked was "look okay". Didn't explain the repairs or anything. Not very personable service. I drove off, it sounded like the door wasn't closed tight or the window was open, I attempted to put the window up, it was already all the way up. I thought maybe the door wasn't closed all the way, I pulled over opened and shut the door, still hearing the wind noise. Thinking it may be that I hadn't driven my vehicle in a while and was more use to the brand new rental car I felt it may be normal. On my drive home the speed limit was 60mph, wind noise was awful. Friday morning I called and talked to Kevin Kutz who said I needed to bring it back to be adjusted. So you had my vehicle from Friday Nov. 27 to Thursday Dec. 3 but I need to be inconvenienced to bring it back. Later that afternoon I went to a drive through only to find out that my automatic power window didn't work, goes down about 3/4 of the way and stops, the button has to be continually pressed to get it to go down all the way, going back up window is extremely sluggish. These are quality assurance issues that should have been completed BEFORE I was called and told my vehicle was complete. I am very dissatisfied that I have to take time off work and out of my schedule to return my vehicle for issues that should have been part of the repair process. Geico offers a lifetime guarantee on the work, I shouldn't have had to use it within 24 hours of the repairs.

I took my vehicle to Hendrick for a quick overnight in-and-out touch up of the repair on Wednesday, November 18 at ****:00 PM. On Friday, November 20, after no word from Hendrick, I called them to check on the vehicle. The receptionist put my call through to Joe's line and I left a message for him to call me.
To make a long story shorter, it is now Wednesday, December 2, over two WEEKS since I dropped off the vehicle. My most recent telephone conversation is that the truck is SUPPOSED to be ready by tomorrow.
Am I irritated? You bet I am.
