I slid in the snow and tore my lower front bumper up on my 2013 Acura TL. I decided to schedule an estimate appointment via Hannah web site. I arrived and the service writer Michael wrote my estimate. One if the body technicians noticed the fender had been bumped and the paint was cracked, i had asked if we could not paint the fender as i was fine with the tiny crack which was partially hidden by the bumper, the technician had agreed as long as the bumper removal was done without any further damage to the lone crack. I agreed to drop off the following Saturday. Thirteen days after I dropped off I received a voicemail advising my vehicle was done and could be picked up. Due to it being a Saturday none of the service writers were on site, so I walked out with the body technician to look over the job. I asked why the fender had been painted? He advised after removing the front bumper the crack had remained the same as before and he made it known to not paint the fender. I never received an update via the service writer about this issue, nor did I receive any text updates which I had checked the box at the time of my drop off to receiver once a week. The tech had advised the chip had been picked at some point after he sent the car to the painters, causing the paint to completely flake off the fender, leaving no choice but to repair and paint the fender. This was a disappointment as a phone call would have been nice at the time of this new development. The car looked perfect, the paint matched and all the new parts looked better than before! I also asked the technician why the job took two weeks, he advised one of the parts that was needed was out of New York, I wondered again why I didn't receive a phone call or text update. I had to pay out of pocket partially for my rental car and would have been nice to know the job was going to take twice as long as a normal bumper job. I would have happily paid the shipping to expedite the parts to keep my loaner car bill down. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication from the office, I am extremely happy with the repair job and detail. As I read over the last four years plus of comments on Google it appears that lack of communication has been an ongoing problem. I hope this is fixed as the people that will suffer are the people doing their jobs in the shop. If I could give the repair job 5 starts I would
