When I picked up my Suburban the inside was dusty with handprints on the inside of the door and footprints on the mat (even tho there was a paper mat). There were dusty footprints on the running boards. I did request to have someone come out and clean it up before I left.
In addition I had someone in passing from the collision center look at the hitch cover because it was loose and ill fitting. They took it off and then reinstalled it and it was better but not as tight as I would have expected.

The only issue I had was that I had specifically requested that the cruise control be fixed. I was told before leaving the lot that the collision center thought that it was, however halfway between the dealership and Ames, the cruise went off and did not come back on. I called the dealership and let the receptionist know what my issue was. The primary person whom I dealt with at the collision center called me when he could. I shared with him the matter of the cruise control not working; told him I had called Thompson Auto Center of Story City, my usual service center for all of my vehicles. I explained what my issue was, and without actually looking at the vehicle, gave me a range of cost scenarios depending on the vehicle and the location of the sensor for the cruise control. He noted that the part could range from $50 to $160 plus labor, that it could be done as hearly as Wednesday, Aug 9th in about a day's time. That fits my schedule, keeps me from having to deliver and leave the vehicle at the collision center again, arrange rides back and forth, and more time without the truck. The collision center contact asked that I keep him in the loop as far as the repair is concerned, which I will. As to the body work on the truck, looks great. Kind regards, C.J.
