Very little attention was paid to detail in the final product. I had sprayed Peel Coat on the hood to hide some peeling paint. In hindsight I should have had the hood repainted. When I picked up my truck, the Peel Coat was coming off as if it’d been power washed. So now the hood looks like hell. And there are brush marks from a sponge or a brush, it was pretty half ****. I don’t think my entire vehicle was washed. When I took auto body in high school (a vocation I loved and would have gone into had I not already been enlisted in the Marines) we delivered a far better product than what I picked up today.
I guess I should have spoken up before I left. But I got dropped off and didn’t want to be out of a vehicle or inconvenience someone else. Also, the bed cap was broken during removal (and not included in the quote) and I was assured by the manager Samuel Hijar it would be replaced. They slapped it back on and attached the bed cover which helps hold it down. Well played guys.
In summary, the paint job is good but overall my truck is worse because of the hood (which I get to stare at every time I drive) and worry about the bed cap trim coming off.
