They taped my fender in order to perform warranty work on the hood and pulled clear coat off, leaving noticeable damage to the fender that was not there previously. They said there must have been a faulty paint job done by another shop previously which would have caused the clear coat issue, though I have have had no fender repairs done in the time I’ve owned the vehicle.
