Did not like the text updates because I was told after my car was in the repair shop that the info in text was sent by a computer and not always correct. The text caused confusion and miscommonuication

When I dropped of my car, the service rep, Nick, said he could call me three times a week. Apparently, I opted out of the text messages and didn't realize that is how he would "call" me, so Service King had my car for three weeks and I heard from Nick only once. Then when I called to check on my car, I was told I would be called when it was ready and did not hear anything for three days. I called three times one day with no response. When I finally did get to speak with Nick, he said he called and left a voicemail, which I never received. I think this is an opportunity to learn and grow. Perhaps train reps to ask customers what is their preferred method of communication or educate reps that they need to tell customers that all updates will be text messages. I opt out of text services to reduce the marketing messages I get, but if I knew that is how I would be communicated with about my car, then I would have kept that line of communication open.
