I was told 6-10 days for repair, I didn’t have my car back for a total of 15 days. There was a small flap that is on the inside of the door sill that covers up the side mirror bolts was not glued on properly. I brought the car in with a fuel range of around 50 miles and the tank was COMPLETELY DRY to the point it ran out of gas on me while trying to get to a gas station after I picked it up. Now there is a mysterious check engine light on that was not on before I brought it in. My driver seat armrest now seems like someone leaned on it as it sits lower than before. It looks like my car was not treated respectfully and no attention to detail was paid from any aspect of its stay there.

I brought my vehicle to service king as a referral from USAA, regarding the recent flood. What prompted the claim was that after out vehicle had sat in water for up to ten days, upon driving it, the vehicle would vibrate very bad when my brakes were applied. The vehicle would also fail to start unless it was placed in neutral, allowed to roll back, and then placed in park. That happened on 3 separate occasions. Upon taking it to service king, they DID NOT NOTIFY ME, that they were not equipped to work on the brakes or electrical equipment regarding the transmission, though I had made it clear as to what the vehicle was doing. I took the vehicle in on 9/6 or 7/2017 Jumping forward to 9/20/2017, I went to service king to check on the progress of the truck. I was not getting notifications from them via text. For some odd reason, it wouldn't go through. When I arrived, I asked them to see the vehicle. When we entered the garage, I again asked about the vibration and the possible electrical issues with the transmission. I was then informed that they could not work on brakes and that because the transmission was sealed, there was no work they could do on that either. Well, why take our vehicle in to do repairs if you could not address the original reason that prompted me to take it in from the beggining!!!!! Yes, you charged USAA $4300 for new carpet and wiring harness, but according to Toyota, the brake calipers needed to be regreased and all brake components cleaned and inspected, due to corrosion. Furthermore, anytime a transmission is submerged in corrosive water, they highly recommend to flush the transmission and replace all electrical components and sensors on the transmission. A sealed transmission still has vent holes for heat to escape, thus a place for moisture. Needless to say, Service King made a quick dollar off of an insurance claim and according to USAA, it was through your feedback that they denied any further diagnostics and checks on the brake system and our sluggish transmission. It's a great thing to have social media and consumer reviews as I will warn people how Service King Operates.
