I was very satisfied with my customer service experience up until a point. I understand where things arise in the ordering and repair that alters the deliverable date. However, the one thing that can make this change in schedule acceptable to a customer is clear cogent communication and empathy.
The ability to track your repair is a nice touch and the email/SMS updates that accommodate are a great luxury. They only prove effective if things go as planned which is a perfect scenario and happy path. There did not seem to be a contingency in plan for how to communicate digitally, nor personally (which I feel is imperative if things go south) to communicate the burden now on the customer's expectations.
The follow up required too much effort on my part when the onus should have rested with Service King.
