I never get upset about anything and am normally very passive about everything. Today I was being challenged and pushed to my limits. My vehicle was towed to the shop a week ago for repairs to front passenger tire, rim and bumper damage after trying to avoid being hit by another vehicle and hitting a high curb. I addressed a major concern that I had from the very beginning. The two back tires are fairly new. The two front tires were worn to about half tread. I was told that only one tire would be replaced. My concern that I voiced was that the car was front wheel drive and having two different tires in the front with different tread is setting me up for an accident in bad weather. My insurance company knew my concern and said that the repairs will be done to make me whole. They said the service shop (Service King) would determine what needs to be done. Angela told me that the Insurance company has to decide. She told me that if the insurance did not cover it that they could put the back tires on the front so I would have equal traction and less apt to be in a dangerous driving condition on wet roads. No one wanted to answer me to my valid concern and wanted to pass it off onto the other party. Once again this is a front wheel drive. There was only one tire replaced and the back tires were not moved to the front. The only updates I got was a text message on Monday saying the work is over half way done at 61%. Another text came across Tuesday says by the car was on schedule to be completed on Wednesday. I was trying to coordinate with a friend to help drop off the rental car and pick mine up from the shop. I called to speak to Angela at 12:15. I was not able to contact her and left a message for her to call. I figured she might have just gone to lunch. I tried calling back at ****:15 and the receptionist told me she just left for lunch. I called back at 2:30 and the receptionist once again said she would have her call me. I called back again at 4:00 and finally spoke to Angela. She said the car was at Discount Tire and may not be ready to go until tomorrow. I informed Angela that I had a meeting in the morning and that it was my birthday and did not want it consumed by running around trying to get my car back. She said she would try to get it back to me tonight which I really appreciated. She called to tell me that I could pick it up around 6:15 because she would still be there till 6:30. I arrived about 6:15 and she walked me out to look at the vehicle. It was hard to make out everything because the tires were all greasy and oil was all beaded up on the rims. When I got the n the car to drive off I noticed that the windows were really dirty. The buildings my was shading the Windows. As I pulled out onto Bandera rd the sun came through the windows. It literally looked like dried spilled milk all over every window and was very hard to see out of any of them. I was driving in rush hour traffic with limited visibility. I took a picture to document just how bad it was. I had to clean all the Windows when I got home and noticed the white film was covering the entire car. As I was cleaning off the car I was in question about some blemishes and imperfections that I do not recall ever being there. I should have documented everything on the car before leaving it at the shop. To top every thing off, I was also out $450 in lost income not having this vehicle.
