I was pleased with everything about the actual work on the car. The technician who did the actual work on the car did an excellent job. The only thing I didn't appreciate was being told on a Thursday that my car would be finished and ready for pickup the next day, then learned that it was not completed that day because of ACS receiving the wrong part. Then I was told that the part was to be overnighted, so instead of Friday the car would be ready on Monday. No one called me on Monday to let me know that the part had not come in, that it would be another day; I called in the late in the afternoon to learn of this new situation. I would have appreciated learning of this delay without having to call to find out if the car would be ready as promised. I was told late Monday that they would check on the part on Tuesday morning. I don't understand why someone couldn't have checked on Monday morning when the part wasn't there as expected. I was simply told they waited all day to see if the part was coming in. This delay cost me personally an additional day of car rental; the rental cost was not covered by my insurance, which ACS knew the day I brought in the car. The staff people I dealt with while I was at ACS were very cordial and sympathetic to my situation.
